An open letter to our customers regarding Covid 19:

Friends, together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re approaching the situation at Texas Door & Window.

First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. And we’re truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.

With that said, everyone is adapting to the rapidly changing global pandemic, it is not only critical that individuals take the right steps to ensure the best possible outcomes, but that companies do their part as well. One critical element of that is ensuring that we are clear with customers and partners regarding some basic, prudent questions about business operations. To that end, I am sharing an open letter that will be sent to each of our customers.

We are posting it here not only for the obvious reason of broader communication, but also as a reminder of the indomitable spirit of people to carry on in the face of adversity. Personally, and professionally, Texas Door & Window’s team is acting to ensure we responsibly overcome the immediate challenge in front of us with COVID-19, while also doing everything in our power to recover from the disruption as quickly as possible.

The entire global supply chain continues to experience immense pressure because of stresses caused by COVID-19 and related labor and transportation issues. Consumers and businesses alike are finding it more difficult to get the products they want as quickly as they did only a few months ago. The most trying part about dealing with a global economic situation like this is that almost every type of product in every type of market is feeling the effect of product shortages and delays. Please know Texas Door & Window is working hard to provide you with the products you need as quickly as possible.
At a high level, there are many issues causing supply chain backorders. The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in worldwide factory shutdowns followed by high demand for products, plus a boom in the demand for building materials across the country, however manufacturers can’t acquire the materials necessary to build products, further extending the shipping times for manufactured goods.
No business is immune to these supply chain issues or associated logistics costs, including Texas Door & Window. To best serve you, I have my team dedicated to searching the country to find additional vendors and materials to fill these gaps in our product offerings, while maintaining the level of service I committed to when starting the company over a decade ago

Lastly, we hope that you and those around you are and remain safe. We are privileged to have you as a customer and even in these unprecedented times, are working hard to continue serving you as you expect. Thank you for your business, your friendship, and your trust.

Thank you,
